Mark was introduced to
Diamonds & Antique Jewelry when he grew up in his
family antique, diamond & jewelry business in Australia before moving to New York
in 1987 to work for Doyle Auctioneers for two years. He then took a position at Christie’s Park
Avenue as a Diamond & Jewelry Appraiser for 3 years before starting his
own Jewelry Appraisal Service in Rockefeller Center 11 years ago.
He is A Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Association of Australia
with a Diamond Certificate from The Gemological Institute of America. He
is A Certified Member & Mentor for the Vocational Training Program of
The
Appraisers Association of America & A Member of the National Association
of Jewelry Appraisers. He was the Honorary Chair for the Lecture Committee
of the American Society of Jewelry Historians in 2003 and frequently
undertakes public speaking & television appearances on varied diamond &
jewelry topics. |

Practice (USPAP) in 1999 & 2004, which is recognized by US Congress
